Federated GraphQL Architecture
A federated architecture commonly contains multiple subgraphs and a router or gateway. Each subgraph owns part of the domain model and exposes its GraphQL schema. The router composes these schemas into a unified API for clients.
For example, an e-commerce platform could have separate subgraphs for products, accounts, orders, and reviews.
The router determines how a client operation should be executed across the participating subgraphs.
