Review All Implemented API Endpoints
Our User Management REST API now includes registration, authentication, CRUD operations, authorization, search, filtering, and pagination.
The following table summarizes the endpoint design.
| Method | Endpoint | Authentication | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| GET | /health/live | No | Liveness check |
| GET | /health/ready | No | Readiness check |
| POST | /api/v1/auth/register | No | Register account |
| POST | /api/v1/auth/login | No | Authenticate user |
| GET | /api/v1/users | Yes | List users |
| GET | /api/v1/users/:id | Yes | Retrieve user |
| POST | /api/v1/users | Depends on policy | Create user |
| PUT | /api/v1/users/:id | Yes | Replace user |
| PATCH | /api/v1/users/:id | Yes | Update user |
| DELETE | /api/v1/users/:id | Admin | Delete user |
In a production application, avoid exposing unrestricted user creation endpoints if registration is intended to be the only account creation mechanism.
The endpoint policy should be consistent with your actual authorization rules.
